It Has Been A Minute

Hello Gang!
I has been a minute....I have been a very busy bee! Yesterday was the last day of class for about a week, then I have what we call two weeks of reading so.....for the next threee weeks I get to catch up on some crafting and some blogging......Wish me luck!!

September Sunday

I've been a bad girl! I overslept!.....So I went to the stamp convention yesterday here in Greenville, I guess it was okay, but the card party at the Funkie Munkie all night was better! Lisa Williams really did her thing! Stephanie had customers everywhere....it was great!

So what shall I do with myself today? Yes, you guys are right...I will go in the studio and clean up from the hurricane that hit! From CHA in July to CKC in August and now it's September, I think it is time! Wish me luck!

I Am Still Here!

Hello Gang!
Yes it's me Ms. Missing In Action........It has been a while since my last post ( that started like a confession..right...) I have been too busy with my school program, and traveling, and the start of the new school year! I am actually home today from work on a sick day! Nonetheless, I needed to post something!

Anyway, I think I have a pretty good handle now on my schedule and new routine....so look for me to be more active again in the world of scrapbooking, and I'll see you soon PROMISE!

Siena is here!

Hello Gang,
My third niece Siena Yarbrough arrived last night at about 9:35ish! Small at 4.5 pounds, but long at 18 inches and loud! Despite her arriving a month early, both mommy and baby are doing great! Thanks for everything!

I'm Sorry Secret Sister!!

This blog post is for my secret sister! I recieved a beautiful gift from my SS today...it was a magnetic/cork board all decked out in my favorite colors! Thanks soooo much it is toooooo cute! She also made me a cute card, that stated I needed to update my blog :-)...so here is my update....Life has been oooohhh soooo busy, and I am still at work even though school is out...and I am a full-time doctoral student.... ! The next Savvy Scrappin Sistas crop is June 26th at the Funkie Munkie from 6-11pm....Hope to see you there....

It Has Been A While......

Hi Guys,
I know that I have mot posted in days...at least a good week! Anywhoo... I have been way to busy! I have been scrapbooking like no body's business and getting ready to finish up my degree full-time, but this time on line....I also began teaching classes this month at Funkie Munkie Scraps. I head up a group called the Savvy Scrappin Sistas....you should check us out! Oh and let me not forget that wrapping up the school year is a whole other animal! TEXTBOOKS...ugh!..That's all I am gonna said! I'm gonna try to post some pics tomorrow...so stay tuned! Til Next Time!

Happy Saturday!!!

This is my first Saturday in weeks to have NOT a thing to do on my schedule...no work ...no school (study)....no scrapbooking ( until later in my home studio)...NOTHING...so in honor of this great day I decided for those of you who don't really know who I am........I would add a "real" picture of myself to this blog post! How about that....plus I'm bored and messing around on my laptop!

Some of you I will see at the Fiskateer Crop next Saturday...others of you I will see in my class at FMS on May 19th....either way....see ya soon!

Well Well I must Tell......

National Scrapbook Day/Weekend has been a blast!!! This week-end has been filled with fun, laughter, learning, and good friends both old and new!! I spent most of my week-end at the Funkie Munkie the store sponsored the "Kick Off" for the clubs! If you didn't make it... never fear...you can sign up any time...online or by calling in...remember there are perks for joining the clubs and subscriptions to fit everyone's purse....so get hooked up you don't want to miss it!!

Hello Gang,
Yes...I'm back! Spring Break was good I got a lot of rest
and a lot of cleaning done! I exactly cleaned the baseboards
around my house! Anywhoo...I am ready to Rock and Roll!
Next week Tuesday April 21st is my first class at Funkie Munkie Scraps, and I will teaching a "cute" savvy 2 page layout....as a sneak peek to the "Savvy Scrappin Sistas" group that will be kicking off on May 2nd...... which as you all know is National Scrapbook Day! So come by and check me out...either April 21 or May 2...I'll be looking for you!

Spring Break/Motivation

Hello Ladies ,
Tomorrow morning officially begins Spring Break! After 2
days...count them... just 2 days of house cleaning I will be off
to the Isle of Palms for a few days to relax! I cropped all
week-end and felt a little bit more of my mojo coming
back! My design team, team mates at Funkie Munkie
Scraps are a great group of ladies with a lot of inspiration!
Simply motivating!!!

Don't worry I have not forgotten I promised pictures...

PS...Dance Update...we won 1st place in Atlanta this week-end!

The Crop was a Blast!

Good Afternoon! The Scrap In Color crop was a Blast even
with all the rain! We had a great time, cropping, sharing,
and laughing until it hurt! :-)

Anywhoo, we ended up with about 12 ladies with abilities
ranging from Newbies to well over being advanced. None
theless a great time was had by ALL. We are checking
calendars and schedules for the next crop...So stay tuned
and check back in with me for those updates!

I Am Dancing with The Stars

Okay so today...well tonight's post is not scrapbook related..at
least until I print the pictures! Any whoo...my dance team
"Thillerama" has done it again! Today we won a High Gold and
we won our category, which also qualifies us for Nationals!

Spring Has Sprung!

Well...well...it's the first day of Spring! Someone tell the weather!
So...who has great plans for the week-end?..Aside from a dance
competition tomorrow...I plan to scrap all week-end, but then
again what else is there to do! I hope everyone has a blessed one!

Local Crop

Scrap In Color will be hosting another crop this month
in honor of National Craft Month! The crop will be
held at Greenville Middle Academy on March 28th
from 11-6pm...cost $15 to include snacks all day
lunch..plus games and prizes! Hurry and RSVP

Hello Gang,
It has been a minute since my last post...but I have been extremely busy! The students at school have caught "Spring Fever" very early this year...my office has been full! On the scrapbooking front I am having a blast! I informed you guys that I have been "tipping" around the dark side....you know, a die hard scrapper getting into stamps! I must admit my friends over at the Funkie Munkie have got me hooked I'm sold and I love it! Great job Ladies.... :-)

What a Wonderful Week-end !!!

Well Hello Gang!

I just had the most wonderful week-end! It was a long one with

no school yesterday! Yea...for me! I got a lot of work done...cleaning

house and of course Scrapbooking! I visited all three of the local

scrapbook stores here in Greenville and had a blast! But my fav

was to FINALLY work with and learn some techiniques regarding

the widely famous Copic Markers! Yes, I know I am late on that but

hey...it's been a minute........ and I am in GRAD school AGAIN! Ha!

Lastly...A note to all you stampers...you're slowly pulling me over to

the dark side...but I like it!
